FENG SHUI GUIDE

Sheng Ji FAQ

The thousand-year destiny method, explained once and for all

✦ By Master Rain ✦

✦Introduction

Sheng Ji (种生基,"planting the life foundation") is one of the most mysterious — and most sought-after — destiny methods in feng shui. Many have heard the name; few know what it actually is, how it's done, or whether it works.

Master Rain answers the most-asked questions in one place — after this article, you'll know more about Sheng Ji than 90% of people.

✦1. What Is Sheng Ji?

Simply: find an auspicious burial site for a living person, bury tokens representing them, and borrow the dragon lair's qi to shift fortune.

The old saying:"Bury the dead in a true dragon lair and descendants prosper; plant Sheng Ji for the living and fortune turns."Tokens typically include hair, nails, worn clothing, and the bazi chart. Once interred in a dragon-lair site, heaven-earth spiritual qi continuously nourishes the person — promoting career, wealth, nobility, health, and longevity.

This is a millennium-old Daoist and feng shui method, used by emperors, generals, and magnates — not folklore.

✦2. The Key: The Site

Sheng Ji succeeds or fails on the site — 90% of it. It must be a true dragon-vein lair: finding the dragon, pinpointing the lair, arranging sand and water, setting orientation — not one step skippable. A false site buried does no good and may harm.

That's why Master Rain insists on climbing the mountains himself: treasure sites are walked out, not drawn on maps. Among his master's hundred-plus disciples, Master Rain's dragon-finding skill is the most recognized.

✦3. The Key: The Timing

A good site still needs good timing. The burial's year, month, day, and hour must harmonize with your bazi and the mountain's orientation — heaven, earth, and human all aligned for maximum effect. Wrong date discounts even a great site.

✦4. The Key: The Ritual

Burial isn't digging a hole. It follows Daoist liturgy: announcing to heaven, earth, mountains and rivers; trấn an (suppress-settle); erecting the stele; consecration… every rite in order. Wrong ritual, scattered qi.

Site, timing, ritual — all three indispensable. Many street"Sheng Ji"services charge without finding land, or bury tokens on any random hill — that's not Sheng Ji, that's burying stuff. Real skill saves wasted money.

✦FAQ

问:Q: Is Sheng Ji superstition?

Sheng Ji is a destiny-improvement method passed down for a thousand years in Daoism and feng shui — used by emperors, generals, and tycoons across dynasties. The principle: 'borrow the earth's spiritual qi to supplement what you lack.' Personal tokens (hair, clothing, bazi chart) are buried in a dragon-lair site, absorbing heaven-earth energy to shift fortune. Believe it or not — skeptics need not apply.

问:Q: Who is Sheng Ji suitable for?

Those with long-stagnant luck, career bottlenecks, weak health, or seeking children or marriage. Sheng Ji is not a magic wand — it adds points on top of your destiny chart: what your chart has, it hastens and magnifies; what it lacks, every bit of supplement counts.

问:Q: What is the Sheng Ji process?

Four steps: 1) Locate (find the dragon vein and true lair), 2) Date-select (an auspicious moment where heaven, earth, and human align), 3) Prepare tokens (hair, nails, worn clothing, bazi chart), 4) Burial ritual (Daoist liturgy: burial, stele, announcement to heaven and earth). Master Rain personally presides over the entire rite.

问:Q: How soon does it work, and how long does it last?

Response is typically felt within 100 days; clear changes usually within a year. Duration depends on the site's energy and your own virtue — do good, and blessings run long. Good deeds after Sheng Ji resonate with heaven-earth qi.
