Many ask me: how does a scientist end up walking the path of feng shui?
Made by feng shui: Early in my US real estate career, the home I lived in had excellent feng shui. Within a few years I went from nothing to financial freedom. I knew nothing of feng shui then — I just thought I was lucky.
Unmade by feng shui: Then I moved into a mansion — bigger, pricier, grander. Two years later, my family had lost millions of dollars. That's when it hit me: it wasn't me failing — it was the house's feng shui.
That painful experience planted a question in me: just how much does feng shui shape a person's destiny?
Seeking a master: With the same drive that got me into China's top schools and a US PhD, I returned to China and sought out true masters, studying under several — most importantly, formally apprenticing under Master Zhang Naiyi, sixth-generation heir of Zhang Jiuyi. Over the years I systematically mastered Bazi destiny analysis, home and grave feng shui, divination, and Qimen arts, absorbing the essence of Star feng shui — the crown jewel of the discipline, its most powerful and proven art. Among my master's hundreds of disciples, my skill in locating dragon veins runs deepest — the foundation of my Sheng Ji practice.
Proven in practice: After gaining true knowledge, I started with my own family — finding and fixing the feng shui problems in our home and ancestral graves, one by one. I climbed mountains myself to locate dragon veins, found several powerful sites, and planted Sheng Ji, witnessing heaven-earth resonance with my own eyes (several videos on my YouTube and Instagram). Before long, my personal and family fortunes clearly reversed. This time I was fully convinced: the real thing works.
Building a practice in America: After completing my training, I returned to the US and founded Rain Fengshui — traditional feng shui practiced with a scientist's rigor. Fluent in English and versed in both Eastern and Western culture, I serve clients in 200+ countries and regions, with a focus on the US market, offering comprehensive, no-nonsense private feng shui consulting. Behind me stands a network of hundreds of gifted practitioners, ready to solve problems at every level.
